A.R.T Digital Enters Exclusive Partnership with Forced Physics to Enhance Bitcoin Mining Cooling Technology

A.R.T. Digital Holdings Corp, a publicly traded Digital Energy and Bitcoin mining company, has entered an exclusive partnership agreement with Forced Physics, a cooling technology company in the cryptocurrency mining sector, to use its technology, JouleForce, to enhance Bitcoin mining cooling technology.

By leveraging Forced Physics’ cooling technology, A.R.T Digital will advance the development of scalable mining systems built specifically to JouleForce specifications.

This will address key Bitcoin mining challenges, including thermal management, sustainability, and operational efficiency, thus highlighting A.R.T Digital’s commitment to advancing Bitcoin mining technology.

This partnership and the role of A.R.T Digital is timely, as thermal management is becoming more of a challenge as Bitcoin mining hardware evolves to smaller, more powerful nodes like 3nm processors.

Traditional cooling systems that use delta T find it difficult to cool, especially in warm climates. This puts a lot of pressure on the machines, which reduces the hash rate and, in turn, lowers the mining profitability. To boost the cooling system, cooling fans must consume much more energy, significantly increasing operational costs.

This is where Forced Physics’ JouleForce cooling technology comes in. It uses a vapor chamber and the company’s patented engineered blades to maximize thermal exchange between air molecules and the heat sink surface. 

Unlike in traditional cooling systems, the system minimizes the temperature gap, allowing exhaust air temperatures to approach the chip’s operating temperature even in extreme heat. 

This ensures efficient and reliable performance, allowing effective overclocking in cooler environments. This system has several advantages, including:

  • An improved thermal exchange that maintains optimal ASIC operating temperatures even in hot environments without throttling performance or reducing hash rate.

Tested in the harshest of environments, this system has been found efficient in places with extreme weather where traditional cooling systems have failed. 

The scalable, water-free solution makes it ideal for use in energy-rich but hot climates like the Middle East, South America, and other regions with scarce water resources, bringing efficient Bitcoin mining to those regions.
