It’s almost time – Black Friday Dyson deals are set to arrive at midnight, slashing the price of some of the best Dyson devices. Already, we’ve seen some record-low prices across its range of vacuums, fans, haircare and hair styling devices, with further price drops throughout this week – and, we hope, more to come tomorrow.

We’ve tried and tested many of Dyson’s products, and consistently rank them among the best in their class, with the main criticism often being lofty price tags. Thankfully, Black Friday deals bring down the cost, and with just hours to go we’re excited to see what’s to come. However, there are already some excellent deals available on Amazon in the US, and plenty at the likes of John Lewis and Argos in the UK.

So, what’s new today? In the US, we’ve got a few more price drops which we’ve marked below, but we’re still lying in wait for the official deals to launch tomorrow. Alas, Amazon UK still hasn’t launched its Black Friday Dyson deals. I’d be very surprised if these don’t land in the early hours of November 29, so make sure to check ou this page tomorrw morning. Thankfully, we’ve been price-checking against other major UK retailers and there are plenty of deals there. We’ll continue updating this page all through Black Friday weekend to help you save. Happy hunting!

Early Black Friday Dyson deals: my top picks

US Black Friday Dyson deals

The Gen5detect vacuum cleaner was deemed Dyson’s best one yet by us in our list of best vacuum cleaners. This is $50 more than the lowest price we’ve seen, but still a solid deal. In our Gen5Detect review, we were impressed by its powerful suction and laser features, highlighting dust that’s invisible to the eye.View Deal

This is a supersized version of the range-topping Gen5detect model, with a larger dust cup and wider floorhead; a real boon for larger homes. As with the regular Gen5, it can automatically adjust suction based how much dirt it detects, and fluffy floorhead features a laser that will highlight hidden dirt on hard floors. It’s still pricey, but this deal knocks $250 off.View Deal

The V15 is one level down from the priciest Dyson vacuum, and still incredibly powerful and ultra-maneuverable. While it’s not the lowest price we’ve ever seen, it’s still a strong discount. You’re still getting the automatic suction adjustment based on how dirty the floor is, and there’s still a dust-illuminating laser on the Fluffy floorhead (although it’s not quite as bright as you’ll find on the pricier Gen5). Like all of Dyson’s cordless stick vacs, it can transform into a handheld vac for quick and convenient clean-ups.View Deal

Price drop: Amazon’s 2023 Black Friday deals included the top-rated Dyson V8 cordless vacuum on sale for $284.99 – the lowest-ever price. This year, it’s not yet dropped so low, but the current deal is still an excellent price. Perfect for pet owners, the Dyson V8 features a de-tangling motorbar that works across hard floors and carpets, and it can transform into a handheld vac for quick and convenient clean-ups.View Deal

The highly coveted Dyson Airwrap has several hair-styling tools in one, allowing you to style your hair however you want without switching your main tool, only the attachments. This cute strawberry colorway version comes with longer attachments for long hair, and it works great on straight or wavy locks. In our Airwrap review, we praised this tool for being lightweight and easy to use – our tester found it delivered gorgeous, healthy results with its intelligent heat control and enhanced Coanda airflow. View Deal

The Nural is the latest iteration of the popular Supersonic dryer, with the same stylish and easy-to-wield design, but some added smarts built-in, geared towards streamlining the styling process and protecting your hair from damage. If you style your hair frequently, this is the hair dryer to buy. $100 off is the first discount of any kind that I’ve seen on this model, and you’ll get sectioning clips and a heat-resistant paddle brush thrown in for free. View Deal

It’s rare to see the original Supersonic discounted at all, and this offer matches the lowest price we’ve ever seen. This is a fantastic hair dryer, with powerful airflow and a streamlined design that’s comfortable to hold and easy to maneuver. This deal comes with bonus sectioning clips and a heat-resistant paddle brush. View Deal

Price drop: Dyson makes some of the very best fans on the market, and this model is well worth checking out. Not only can it cool you down when the temperatures rise, it’s a fantastic all-in-one solution that can also act as an air purifier or heater. This isn’t the lowest price we’ve ever seen, but it’s still a fantastic deal.View Deal

$140 off might not sound like the biggest Black Friday deal to you, but this price-drop takes the Dyson Purifier Cool Fan to its lowest price. This advanced air purifier has sensors that monitor any airborne allergens and pollutants, and reports them in real time on its screen. It can captures particular as small as 0.3 microns, and is designed to require minimal maintenance.View Deal

It’s not quite back down at its lowest-ever price, but a $170 discount is still a strong price-drop on this model. We rated it 4.5 stars in our Dyson AM09 Hot + Cool fan heater review. As a 2-in-1 fan heater, we were more than pleased with its speedy performance and its intelligence, both of which contribute to its original high retail price – but that’s something you need not worry about this Black Friday.View Deal

The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Formaldehyde HP09 is a pricey pick at the best of times, but it’s currently our favorite premium air purifier. In our review we awarded it 4.5 out of five stars, and commended its fantastic purifying tech, gorgeous design, and excellent app. With $200 off it’s easily a five-star purchase.View Deal

Record low: Back to its record-low price from 2022, this is a respectable saving on a solid Dyson fan. This machine circulates purified air throughout the room, and we found that it does a fantastic job of it on test, awarding it four stars in our Dyson Pure Cool review.View Deal

While we only scored these straighteners three out of five stars in our Dyson Corrale review, this was largely due to the exorbitant list price, and the fact they are very heavy – but with this coupon for $99 off, some of those woes are mitigated. It’s worth considering if you’re worried about hair heath – the unique, flexing plates gather the hair, allowing you to use less extreme heat. View Deal

Tight on space? Try a 2-in-1 option like this, the Dyson V15s Detect Submarine, which offers both wet and dry cleaning with its swappable floorheads. Even at its sale price, it’s an expensive option, but a $200 discount is not to be sniffed at. We scored it a solid four stars in our Dyson V15s Detect Submarine review.View Deal

Price drop: Another great Black Friday deal for those looking for a high-end cordless vac. It’s not the lowest price we’ve seen, but a solid discount. The Dyson V12 Detect Slim features surprisingly powerful suction for a cordless, and an intelligent sensor that can optimize power and battery life depending on the surface you’re vacuuming. A handy de-tangling motorbar makes short work of hair, while the built-in laser scanner illuminates hard-to-see dust. A cheap sucker, this is not, but we were impressed during our Dyson V12 Detect Slim review. View Deal

Record low – The V11 is actually our favorite Dyson vacuum on balance of price to performance, and it’s incredible value with this Black Friday price-drop. While it lacks the fancier features of the newest models (no real-time dust reports here), it really excels when it comes to powerful suction and effective cleaning, with an ultra-maneuverable, lightweight and thoughtful design. The ‘Plus’ bit means it comes with a wide selection of attachments – here, it includes a ‘low-reach adapter’, which enables you to flex the wand forwards so you can easily reach right under furniture. View Deal

While the Ball Animal 3 is one of Dyson’s more affordable models, it’s by no means an underachiever – and to see it drop below $300 is a real treat, and a repeat performance of last year’s excellent deal. It’s a little heavier than the cordless vacuums on this list and a bit more unwieldy, but it’s immensely powerful. Head to our Dyson Ball Animal 3 review to find out more. View Deal

Record low – At $100 less than the previous lowest-ever price, this upsized version of the Dyson Origin offers a larger bin and wider floorhead, meaning it’s better suited to bigger homes. Plus, you can squeeze up to a full hour of cleaning from just one charge – we gave it a nearly perfect score of 4.5/5 in our Dyson V11 Outsize review. View Deal

While it’s a slightly older Dyson vacuum, the V7 still packs a punch. It’s very maneuverable: Dyson’s floorheads pivot in a way that no other brand has managed to replicate yet. It also boasts a lightweight design (newer models can get a bit heavy) and features Dyson’s unique cyclone-based motor for powerful suction. We have seen a lower price on this model before, but this is still a great deal if you don’t want to gamble on a bigger price-drop closer to Black Friday.View Deal

Dyson’s robot vacuum has seen a $200 price cut for Black Friday, back at its record-low price. While the Vis Nav only scored 3.5 stars in our review, it’s a bit of a love-it or hate-it device. We didn’t love its D-shaped body, which caused problems with corners, and its slightly sub-par navigation smarts. Especially at its price, these drawbacks are a bit of a blow – however, we did like its room edge cleaning and power.View Deal

UK Black Friday Dyson deals

Record low – There’s no two ways about it, this is still an investment, but we have yet to see this top-of-the-range vacuum any cheaper than this record-low deal. In our Gen5detect review, we gave this sucker four out of five stars, commending its battery life and excellent performance. Its main drawback is the hefty price tag – although for the advanced features you’re getting here, it’s not wildly overpriced, and it’s a little more palatable with this £270 discount.View Deal

Price drop – This deal has just got even better, now with £110 off RRP. The V15 Detect is one down from the most advanced Dyson cordless stick vacuum, and while £480 is still an investment, it’s a fantastic appliance for pet owners or anyone who needs a vacuum that packs a punch. It’s very powerful, with a long battery life and cutting-edge features like the ability to monitor and report on what it’s sucking up, so you know when each patch of floor is clean before moving on.View Deal

The Supersonic Nural is the most advanced hair dryer from Dyson, and perhaps also any brand. It has a streamlined and easy-to-wield design, plus plenty of added features geared towards removing styling pain-points and protecting your hair from unnecessary heat damage. If you style your hair regularly, it’s worth the investment. You’ll get a storage/presentation case thrown in for free with this deal.View Deal

This is exactly the same hair dryer as the regular Nural above, but in a special edition rose gold/blush pink colorway, and with a fancier storage case that has a removable lid that doubles as a mat to place your dryer on. You’ll need to decide whether that’s worth the extra £20 to you. View Deal

Our Dyson Supersonic review called this the ‘best hair dryer on the market’ for its quirky design and impressive performance. The main issue? The price. It’s unusual to see substantial savings on a brand-new Supersonic, so £80 is nothing to sniff at.

Not only is the Dyson Airwrap our top tool in our list of best hair stylers, but it’s quite a rarity for it to run into a deal – so snag it while you can. Aside from its £80 saving, in our Dyson Airwrap review we noted that it’s a very reliable tool if you regularly style your hair and you’re on the hunt for salon-like results. View Deal

For an all-in-one heater, cooling fan and air purifier, Dyson’s HP09 purifier is one of the best and most versatile options on the market. This stylish, bladeless fan is usually rather expensive (something we noted in our review) but a £150-off Black Friday reduction makes it a must-buy in this year’s seasonal sales.View Deal

Huge discount: We described this as a superb fan heater and awarded it 4.5 stars in our Dyson Hot+Cool fan review, and now it’s at the lowest price we’ve seen. This is an incredible deal on a modern-looking and fast-working fan and heater, with the option to flip between the heating and cooling modes at the push of a button.View Deal

If you want something more in the mid-range of Dyson’s powerful vacuums, this is among the best prices we’ve ever seen. The Dyson V11 has fewer fancy features than the newest models (there’s no laser floorhead), but it really excels when it comes to cleaning power, with powerful suction, a detangling motorbar floorhead and a further hair-focused detail tool for pulling hair off furniture. The wand can be easily removed to turn it into a convenient handheld. The ‘Extra’ in the name of this model means it comes with a few extra Dyson cleaning tools.View Deal

For a slightly older Dyson model, the V8 is still impressively capable, and with this Black Friday deal it’s quite possibly the cheapest Dyson stick vacuum you can buy, and excellent value. The updated V8 (denoted by the ‘Advanced’ in the name) offers improved suction versus previous generations, but broadly the comments from our Dyson V8 review will line up with this.View Deal

The Cyclone V10 currently has £150 off for Black Friday. The ‘Total Clean’ bit refers to the complete range of tools and accessories included, making this model in particular ultra-versatile. In our Dyson Cyclone V10 review we found this vacuum powerful and well designed, but noted that it’s only really worth buying if you find a good discount – which this is. It’s not quite the cheapest price we’ve seen – this model was £279.99 earlier in November – but it’s still a strong discount. View Deal

Offering up to 60 minutes of suction on a single charge, the V12 Absolute is a solid all-rounder. It was released alongside the V15, as a streamlined, lighter option with many of that vacuum’s advanced features (including automatic suction adjustment based on dirt levels). In our Dyson V12 Detect Slim Absolute review, the only real complaint we had was that the bin is rather small. It’s great value in this deal for £150 off.View Deal

Price drop: If you want a device that does it all, the Submarine is a unique product in that Dyson lineup which offers both wet and dry cleaning with its swappable floorheads. It’s pricey, but this £200 off deal does soften the blow, and it’s £50 cheaper than it was earlier this week. If you want one of the best two-in-one models around it’s worth the price. We scored it a solid four stars in our Dyson V15s Detect Submarine review.View Deal

If you’re not too concerned about a thorough spatial audio listening experience but are after a set of quality headphones that pack a sufficient battery life with clean sound, Dyson’s OnTrac headphones may be the ones for you. This £50 saving is on the smaller side of Dyson’s Black Friday deals, but it’s the only worthwhile price-drop we’ve spotted on Dyson’s headphones so far. View Deal

Don’t be put off this small saving of £50, because compared to Amazon and the Dyson online store, Argos is pulling through with this early Black Friday deal on one of the best hair stylers, which we awarded 4.5 stars in our Dyson Airstrait review. While £400 is still an investment, Dyson’s premium hair straightener can be a lifesaver if you have damaged hair, or if you’re always in a rush to get ready, as it dries and styles your hair at the same time.View Deal

Welcome to our Black Friday Dyson deals coverage! Today, I’ll be sharing all the best Dyson deals from across US and UK retailers as well as top tips from our home appliance experts on how to get the most bang for your buck.

The lowest price on the Gen5Detect cordless vacuum

We think the Gen5detect is one of the best vacuums available right now, impressing our reviewer with its fantastic suction and smart laser features which highlight dust that’s invisible to the eye, earning it a 5-star rating.

Dyson’s powerful Gen5detect cordless vacuum cleaner has plummeted to its record-low price in the UK, and it’s seen a decent discount in the US too:

🇺🇸: was $949.99 now $805 at Amazon

Is Black Friday the best time to buy Dyson products?

Generally speaking, yes. Dyson products are characterized not only by their quality, but also by the lofty price tag, and the fact there are rarely significant discounts. Luckily, you’ve got a week until the deals officially launch, so there’s time to mull over your options.

While we’ll sometimes see small price drops during other major sales, Black Friday is often the only sales event during which we’ll see discounts of any great significance. It’s worth highlighting, however, that truly great deals on certain devices like the Airwrap are especially few and far between.

Sometimes, even if a deal isn’t as good as one we’ve seen previously, it’s worth snagging an Airwrap if you’ve had it on your list for a few years.

Dyson Ball Animal 3 deal - don't miss!

The Dyson Ball Animal 3 is already one of the more affordable models on offer in the brand’s wide range of vacuums, but still offers much the same high-performance as we’d expect from its more premium, cordless models.

By proxy of being corded and higher-capacity, it’s a little heavier, and in our review we did find it was slightly harder to maneuver – but it makes up for this in the power department.

Dyson’s range of vacuums is extensive; as well as several versions of its cordless and upright vacuums, there are variations of each model that come with different tools and capacities.

Navigating these can be a minefield, especially in the throes of Black Friday madness, so make sure to check out our Dyson vacuum cleaner tools guide.

Dyson V11

If you want a mid-range model from Dyson’s range of powerful vacuums, consider the Dyson V11. It packs a host of helpful features; an easy-empty bin, informative LCD screen and decent battery life, though doesn’t feature some of the super-smarts seen in some newer models. It’s plenty powerful and perfect for pet owners thanks to its detangling motor bar that works well across hardwood floors and carpets. You can also transform it into a handheld vac for quick and convenient clean-ups.

We’ve yet to see the Dyson V11 drop any lower than its current price at Amazon – and the UK has the V11 Extra at a fantastically low price, too.

Dyson Supersonic Origin Deal Page titled Big Savings

The hairdryer that really kickstarted Dyson’s astronomic leap into the haircare market is still near-unmatched, offering impressively speedy drying times and a comfortable drying experience thanks to its and innovative form factor. Plus, you can also use the flyaway attachment (sold seperately) to reduce unnecessary frizz in your ‘do thanks to its coanda airflow technology.

Typically, it’s a pretty pricey device, especially given there are some decent dupes now available. However, Black Friday brings the heat, knocking £80 from its list price.

Dyson Supersonic: was £329.99 now £249.99 at John Lewis

Are Dyson haircare devices worth it?

I’ve tested almost every device in Dyson’s haircare range, and let me tell you, they are good. However, at list price, you’re mostly paying off Dyson’s R&D department for their hard work in innovating hair care. Thankfully, many devices see at least $/£100 discounted during Black Friday.

The Dyson Supersonic hairdryer started it all, releasing as Dyson’s first hair care device in 2012, and at twelve years old it sees some of the best Black Friday discounts from Dyson’s range. It offers supremely speedy drying times, convenient magnetic attachments and sleek results. It still stands as one of the best hair dryers available, though the newer Supersonic Nural packs more smart features like Scalp Protection and the energy-saving low power mode – however, we’re unlikely to see this discounted for 2024.

In case you missed it, the Dyson Airwrap remains a hugely popular and virally successful multi-styler, with the brand releasing multiple new editions to accommodate different hair types and lengths. I use mine almost every day, and I’ve definitely noticed my hair is less damaged than when I previously used a conventional hair dryer – however, for some coarser or thicker hair types, styling doesn’t hold as long as with ceramic hair tools. At its list price, it’s a big investment, however, we’ve seen prices drop by up to $120 in the US.

Some devices such as its straighteners (the Dyson Airstrait and Dyson Coralle) are certainly innovative, but won’t be a top pick for everyone, and neither typically see huge discounts over Black Friday. They work well for some specific hair types; typically medium thickness straighter or wavy hair that isn’t too porous, but otherwise might not do the job as well as conventional ceramic plates. Still, the lofty price tag makes them inferior to market-leading, traditional straighteners like our current top recommendation, the GHD Unplugged.

Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Formaldehyde HP09 with the label 'Big Savings'

UK deal: A personal recommendation here, the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Formaldehyde HP09 is a fantastic all-in-one purifier, heater and fan, earning it 4.5* in my review. Until recently, I lived in a flat with some pretty gnarly black mould, and this bad boy gave me more than just peace of mind.

In addition to cleaning your air and keeping it at a comfortable temperature, the near-live air quality data (shown both on its Liquid Crystal Display and companion app) is a real boon and helped me identify some potentially harmful products in my home. Plus, it integrates with a variety of smart home devices, meaning you can set up smart automations to cool, heat or purify your home – though you’ll need a separate air quality sensor for this, as unfortunately data from the device isn’t sent to your smart home hub.

Dyson vacuum floorhead (left) and Shark floorhead (right)

Good morning, Dyson deal hunters!

There’s no doubt; Dyson’s vacuums are among the best in the game. However, in recent years Shark is coming in hot with more affordable vacuums that offer smart features and solid suction, making them a viable alternative if you’re on a budget.

Not sure if you can justify buying a Dyson vacuum this Black Friday? We’ve written a handy guide comparing the key strengths and weaknesses between models offered by Shark vs. Dyson.

Dyson V8 on a teal background next to a 'Don't Miss' label

While the Dyson V8 vacuum cleaner is one of Dyson’s older models, it’s still plenty powerful, and a great option if you want to save some money and don’t mind missing out on more advanced features; we still think it’s one of the best from the brand.

With a 40-minute battery life when used on its standard setting, a handy hand-held mode and a decent array of useful attachments, the V8 is a solid all-rounder made even better value for money in this year’s Black Friday deals – and in the UK, the offer is actually on a slightly newer model with improved suction.

It’s not quite a record low in the US (that was $299 in this year’s Prime Big Deals day), but in the UK it’s a price match for the lowest-ever price we saw on the 2023 edition of the Dyson V8.

🇺🇸 Dyson V8 cordless vacuum: was US$469.90 now $389 at Amazon

🇬🇧 Dyson V8 Advanced cordless vacuum: was £329.99 now £229.99 at John Lewis

Dyson vacuum (left) and Tineco wet floor cleaner (right)

Another brand frequently compared to Dyson, and especially during sales events, is Tineco, which offers feature-rich devices that come at lower prices.

More often, Tineco’s focus is on multi-functional, smart vacuums, whereas Dyson offers more raw power thanks to its patented cyclone technology, but there are plenty more differences to consider – read more in our comparison of Dyson vs Tineco.

What Black Friday Dyson deals should I expect?

Black Friday Dyson deals are reliably sparse, but when they do crop up, you can often save a minimum of $100 / £100 on some of the best devices.

When it comes to vacuums, savings typically crop up on older models, especially from the popular V8 and V15 product lines, though we have seen its premium Gen5detect crop up in years previous.

Nowadays, the Dyson Airwrap will fairly reliably receive at least some kind of discount, though these can sell out very quickly, leaving behind only refurbished deals – though that’s no bad thing for the sustainability-conscious buyer. On the other hand, the now slightly aging Dyson Supersonic sees solid sales during Black Friday, with early deals already dropping the price by $120 / £120.

Elsewhere in haircare, we saw the Airstrait receive its first major discount earlier this year, slashing the price by $100 at Amazon earlier this year during Prime Day, which will hopefully see a repeat performance for Black Friday.

Last but not least is Dyson’s aircare range, which is probably its strongest suit during sales events. Every year, we see some of its popular, high-spec fans, heaters, and air purifiers significantly discounted for Black Friday, and this year should be no different, judging by the early deals.

Good morning, and welcome to the Sunday edition of TechRadar’s best Dyson Black Friday deals live blog, where we’ll be rounding up the best savings so far on Dyson vacuums, aircare, hair styling devices and alternatives for other manufacturers.

Let’s start with a little bit of advice: if you’re dropping a fair chunk of change on a costly device from a premium provider like Dyson, you’ll want to know how to properly care for it.

We’ve got a helpful guide on how to clean your Dyson cordless vacuum, so make sure to check that out before you buy – or if you’ve already ordered and you’re just that darn excited about your new gadget that you want to get ahead of the game before it arrives.

best hair styler tool: Dyson AirWrap

How does the Dyson Airwrap work?

No, it’s not by magic – the Dyson Airwrap actually uses a clever phenomenon called the ‘Coanda’ effect to style your hair, specifically with its iconic barrels.

High-speed air follows the contours of the surfaces of the Airwrap attachments, much like a liquid would, and hair held close to the barrels will be naturally sucked in and wrapped around the barrel. That same air will then dry and lock-in the style (we recommend blasting your curls with the cool shot for 5-10 seconds following heat).

It’s worth noting, especially if your hair is porous like mine, that you’ll need to make sure it’s rough dried first – the airflow isn’t powerful enough to pick up heavy, wet hair.

Dyson V11 vs V15 being used by reviewers

Homes editor Ruth dropping in for a few posts. Most of Dyson’s cordless vacuums look roughly the same, but there are differences when you start to dig a little deeper. Two popular options are the V11, which launched in 2019, and the V15 Detect, which joined the lineup in 2021.

Both have the same, efficient design, with the wand, motor and cylones all lined up to maximize suction. Both also provide information via a helpful LCD screen, and can adjust power automatically based on whether they’re on hard floor or carpet.

If you opt for the newer V15 Detect, it has a few more tricks up his sleeve. It monitors exactly the size and number of particles it’s sucking up, boosts or lowers suction to suit. It’ll also show you that information in real time on its screen. If you snap on the Fluffy head for hard floors, there’s an inbuilt laser to illuminate dust and hair that might otherwise be missed. It also offers slightly more outright power – the V15 offers suction power of 240AW, whereas the V11 tops out at 186AW – although either will be plenty powerful enough for most people’s needs.

Overall, the two vacuums are fairly similar, and most of the difference is in the added features. Where the Dyson V11 wins out is on price – it’s typically significantly cheaper that the V15, although the Black Friday Dyson sales can shake that up a bit. For a more in-depth breakdown, head to my Dyson V11 vs V15 Detect explainer.

Dyson Fluffy Optic floorhead

When shopping for a Dyson vacuum cleaner, the naming system can be a little confusing. The first bit part tells you the model – so V11, V15 Detect and so on – but you’ll also find words like ‘Absolute’, ‘Complete’ or ‘Animal’ tagged onto the end. For the most part, these suffixes indicate a different range of tools (so ‘Animal’ models will have a dedicated pet hair floorhead, ‘Complete’ might have a more extended range of tools than the standard model), or even just a different colorway, while the vacuum itself is the same.

My Dyson vacuum tools guide runs through the key tools you might find included with your cleaner. when shopping, I recommend deciding which model you want, and if you have any priority tools you’d like included. Then when you’re comparing deals, just make sure the tools you definitely need are part of the package.

There are a couple of exceptions, where there are differences in the design/functionality of the vacuum. If you pick an ‘Outsize’ model, the main floorhead will be wider, and the dust cup will be larger than on the equivalent standard model. And the Dyson V11 Advanced is an updated version of the V11, with more suction power.

Good morning Dyson deal hunters! It’s Josephine back again today with fresh discounts and more buying advice to help you make some big savings this Black Friday.

We’re going to do a quick scour to find some fresh deals, but in the meantime make sure to check out our ranking of the best vacuums to see the competition.

Dyson Cyclone V10 Black Friday spotlight

UK deals: With UK Dyson deals still fairly sparse on Amazon (come on guys, where are the deals at?), we’ve done a good trawl through some of the other major retailers running Black Friday sales events, spotting this excellent deal for £150 off the Dyson Cyclone V10.

Like many of the Dyson vacuums presently on sale for Black Friday, the Cyclone V10 is a bit of an older model, coming with a more basic feature set when compared to later models like the V12 or the Gen5detect. Offering a 60-minute run time on its lower setting, respectable performance and a handy set of tools, it’s a great all-rounder for those who want a Dyson clean without the frills.

We’ve given our deals list above a price check this morning, and spotted a further price drop on the Dyson Gen5Detect in both the UK and US! Score!

In the UK, it’s a record-low, where in the US it’s $50 more than the best price we’ve seen so far.

Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer

From Ruth Hamilton, our Homes Editor and resident vacuum expert.

UK deal: If you’re at all interested in haircare, you’ll probably be aware of the Dyson Supersonic. It was the hot hair dryer to have when it came out, and still remains super popular. You might be less aware of its successor, the Dyson Supersonic Nural, released earlier this year. It looks much like the OG model, with a similar streamlined design with neat barrel, but inside Dyson has packed in a whole bunch of ultra-cool tech.

The main one is that it can tell how close it is to your head. Activate Scalp Protect mode, and it’ll get hotter or cooler to maintain what feels like a constant temperature on your head, so you can get right up close for prevision styling, without burning your hear or frying your locks.

Each of the expanded range of tools also has a sensor inside it, so when you snap a new one on, the dryer will recognize what’s attached and revert to your last-used settings. It’s wildly expensive, sure, but it’s not that much more than the original Supersonic, and if you’re in the UK, Dyson is offering a little discount for Black Friday too:

Dyson V15 Detect Pro cordless vacuum cleaner

Launched in 2021, the V15 Detect might not be the newest vacuum in Dyson’s line-up, but it’s one of the smartest and most powerful.

With its release, Dyson debuted its laser light, which reveals invisible dust on hard floors when using the Fluffy Optic tool. Plus, its one-inch circular digital screen can show you exactly how much dust you’re collecting, thanks to the tiny piezo sensor housed within the vacuum’s handheld unit, which can measure acoustic vibrations from microscopic particles as small as 10 microns. So, when the display shows nothing more is being collected, you’ll know your floor is well and truly clean.

Is it overkill? Considering the price, even with this $/£150 discount, potentially so. However, you’ll make all your friends jealous with your super-smart sucker.

US deal: If you want a two-in-one solution, the Dyson AM09 Hot + Cool heater is an excellent option, utilizing Dyson’s smart bladeless air multiplier technology to ditch the old-school fan form factor.

It comes with a remote, allowing for easy control even as you lounge on your sofa, reveling in your gloriously smart new fan, and offers ten distinct airflow levels, oscillation options, a sleep timer (in increments up to 9 hours) and precise temperature controls, also illustrated by the base unit’s LED display.

Further price drops in the UK

I’ve just spotted two excellent further price drops, bringing two great older models to record low prices.

Earlier this week, the Dyson V8 Advanced was £229 at John Lewis – now, it’s £199, down from its list price of £329. While it’s an older model, the ‘Advanced’ in its name indicates Dyson has recently updated its specs versus the original Dyson V8. Now, it has slightly improved suction, but broadly speaking it’s pretty the same as the model we gave four stars in our Dyson V8 review.

Elsewhere, Dyson’s own Black Friday sale has seen a further price drop on the Dyson Cyclone V10 Total Clean, dropping the price from its earlier sales price of £299 (price matched by Argos, John Lewis and Currys) to a record-low of £279 at Dyson.co.uk, down from its list price of £449. It’s ultra versatile thanks to the huge range of tools and accessories that come included as part of the ‘Total Clean’ package. In our four-star Dyson Cyclone V10 review we liked how powerful this vacuum is and praised its great design, but we weren’t a fan of its list price; with this deal, however, it’s well worth it.

Control screen on Dyson Gen5detect (left) and controls on Shark Detect Pro vacuum (right)

From Ruth Hamilton, our Homes Editor and resident vacuum expert.

If you’re looking to upgrade your vacuum this Black Friday, there’s a chance you might be wondering whether to opt for a Shark model rather than a Dyson. For a long time, Dyson was considered king of the vacuum brands, but increasingly Shark is looking like hot competition.

Both brands make plenty of excellent vacuums, and consistently score highly on review. However, there are some broad differences that make one brand a better choice than the other for certain customers.

Dyson has always been all about engineering, and tends to lead the way when it comes to pushing forward efficiency, suction, and battery life. More recently, we’ve seen particularly hi-tech added features, like dust particle monitoring and reporting on the V15 and Gen5detect. Today’s best Dyson vacuums are typically meticulously designed and cutting-edge, and as a result, more expensive.

Shark’s range is wider and more varied, with models coming and going regularly. Its vacuums tend to be less meticulously engineered, but the best Shark vacuums still offer strong cleaning power. Shark has won over customers with its affordable pricing, and some simple but very effective innovations to improve usability – the forward-bending wand for cleaning under furniture is a great example. You’ll find plenty of Shark deals in our Black Friday vacuum cleaner deals guide.

I adore Dyson’s newer Strawberry Bronze colorway, to the point where I’m tempted to buy a new, glossy Airwrap in addition to the original pink set I already own. However, I’m not made of money, and unless I win the lottery ahead of Black Friday it’s unlikely I’ll be the one to claim this next deal.

Right now, you can save $100 on the Strawberry Bronze Dyson Airwrap multi-styler and dryer for straight / wavy hair at Dyson, and it even includes a presentation case and Detangling comb. For an added benefit, how about two additional complimentary gifts at checkout? Stunning.

Dyson V12 Detect Slim

Price drop: While it’s not by much, the Dyson V12 Detect Slim just went on sale at Dyson, beating the previous Amazon deal for $499.

Right now, you can grab the Dyson V12 Detect Slim for just $399 at Dyson – that’s a $250 discount that’s well worth considering. Meanwhile in the UK, the V12 Detect Slim is also on sale at Dyson for £399 – but John Lewis has undercut them on price by £5. Cheeky!

We scored the V12 Detect Slim four stars in our review, calling it an “underrated” sibling to the more powerful Dyson V15 detect.

Someone holding the Dyson Supersonic, next to a sign that says Lowest Price

From Ruth Hamilton, our Homes Editor and resident vacuum expert.

New deal: If you’re at all interested in haircare, you’ll probably be aware of the Dyson Supersonic.

It’s wildly expensive, sure, but it’s not that much more than the original Supersonic, and right now, Dyson is offering a little discount for Black Friday too:

The Dyson V15s Detect Submarine on a red background with the words Lowest Price

Fresh deals: In both the US and UK, the Dyson V15s Detect Submarine has seen a price drop.

“Wait, Dyson sells a submarine?”

No, silly, but it does make a solid 2-in-1 wet and dry vacuum, which we scored four out of five stars in our Dyson V15s Detect Submarine review.

It’s still pricey, even at its sale price, but it’s a unique device in Dyson’s range of floor cleaners. There are far more affordable alternatives from other brands, though.

Dyson's new Airwrap i.d. and Chitosan wet line styling products

Dyson made its first bold step into wet styling products this year, releasing the new Dyson Chitosan formulations range alongside the new Dyson Airwrap i.d..

It’s produced specifically to complement Dyson’s hair tools and shares a name with an ingredient extracted from crab shells, which can also be used as a biodegradable alternative for silicone. There’s absolutely no relation to crab shells here, though; the chitosan found in Dyson’s formula apparently comes from oyster mushrooms. Just thought it was a fun fact.

Dyson claims its Chitosan post-style serum is vegan, and that the pre-style serum isn’t, but due to the inclusion of beeswax.

Shopping vacuums, but not sure about the Dyson deals? While a few solid discounts are trickling through on some of the most premium vacuums from the brand, not many are reaching a real rock-bottom just yet.

Dyson WashG1 wet floor cleaner

From Ruth Hamilton, our Homes Editor and resident vacuum expert.

After years of being known for its vacuums, in 2024 Dyson decided it was time to offer something geared specifically to hard floors. The WashG1 is the brand’s first dedicated wet cleaner, and unlike many wet-dry vacuums, it actually does’t use suction at all. Instead, it simply wets your floor and uses rollers to dislodge the dirt. Unusually in this market, it then separates the liquid from solid waste, saying this makes maintenance easier, prolongs the life of the cleaner, and means it smells better.

When I tried one out, I was pretty impressed. It maintains that excellent maneuverability you find with Dyson’s vacuums (it’s cordless, too), and it’s great at cleaning flat floors. However, it doesn’t evenly clean uneven flooring and won’t dig into the grouting spaces between tiles (this is a pretty standard problem with wet-dry cleaners).

The price point is high, and unfortunately I haven’t spotted any Dyson WashG1 deals so far, although I’ll be keeping a close eye on things – we might see a price drop a little closer to Black Friday, if we’re lucky.

When it comes to floorcare appliances, Dyson’s clear focus is on cordless stick vacuums. However, if you dig into the far corners of the Dyson website, you can still find one or two corded upright models. Unless you’re packing some serious arm muscles, you won’t be able to gleefully wave one of these above your head like you would a cordless model, but they might still be worth considering.

As we noted in our Dyson Ball Animal 3 review (the newest model), where this range really shines is in their power. They can suck like pretty much nothing else. So if you’re dealing with ingrained dirt and want something heavy-duty, this could be just the thing. The ball design also means the floorhead pivots smoothly any way you want it to, and the fact it’s corded means you’ll never run out of juice. This is one of the most affordable Dyson vacuum ranges, too – and even better in the Dyson Black Friday sales.

Dyson Outsize Origin

Also known as the Dyson V11 Outsize, this model offers all of the benefits of the standard V11 and V11 Absolute, but also packs a much larger bin and wider cleaning head, making it an excellent choice for bigger households. Plus, at $100 cheaper than its lowest-ever price, it’s a real highlight from this year’s Early Black Friday deals.

We gave it a nearly perfect score of 4.5/5 in our Dyson V11 Outsize review, noting only its weight and price tag as the main drawbacks – with this deal, the latter is mitigated.

Dyson Digital Motorbar Floorhead

Dyson Fluffy Optic floorhead

Dyson vacuums have two main floorhead options. The main one is the Motorbar head. There’s a version of this with every cordless stick vacuum, and it’s designed to work on both hard floors and carpet. If you opt for either of the newest models – the V15 Detect or Gen5detect – you’ll get an upgraded version called the Digital Motorbar head. This has sensors the monitor the volume and size of the dust particles it’s sucking up.

Alongside the Motorbar floorhead you might also get a Fluffy floorhead. This is has a soft roller and is especially for hard floors. On those two new models, it has an integrated laser, to illuminate hidden dust.

UK deal: Behold, the holy grail of Black Friday deals; the Airwrap.

Granted, we see a lot more deals during Black Friday on Dyson’s viral Airwrap these days, and far fewer stock issues – but there are also a lot more variants now, meaning you have to be quite specific with deals hunting.

This specific model is the Long + Volumise, which means it comes with longer curling barrels and accessories like the large round barrel brush to add some height and shape to your hair. It’s the version I personally use on my below-shoulder-length, thick hair, and works a treat for quick and easy styling ahead of a long day in the office.

A range of Dyson fans against a pink background with Tech Radar, Big savings written in white to the left.

We’re big fans of Dyson’s fans. On test, they regularly blow us away, especially thanks to their cool design and fan-tastic performance.

Now I’ve got those puns out of my system, I can get to the actually helpful bit; my recommendations. Right now in the US, the Dyson TP10 is at its record-low price at Best Buy, where it’s just $299 (was $429), an excellent deal if you want both air purification and cooling.

My fabulous colleague, Cesci Angell, has put together a list of the best US and UK Dyson fan deals, including models with heating, Formaldehyde filtering and some smart features.

While the Dyson deals are good, many of its vacuums are still pricey at their sales price – moreso than some of its competition at retail price.

For US customers, we’re here to help – we’ve rounded up the best cordless vacuum deals so you can compare prices.

Check out the 17 best cordless vacuum deals according to our vacuum expert.

US deals: Dyson’s robot vacuum is back at its record-low price of $999 at Dyson, a solid deal that knocks $200 off its lofty list price.

Now, I will preface this with the fact that we weren’t massively impressed by the Vis Nav in our review, scoring it 3.5 stars on account of its D-shaped body causing problems with corners and slightly sub-par navigation smarts. Especially at its price, these drawbacks are a bit of a blow – however, we did like its room edge cleaning and power.

Dyson Vis Nav: was $1,199 now $999

Good morning! It’s Black Friday Eve, meaning there are mere hours between us and the barrage of deals that we expect to arrive tomorrow.

We’ll be doing our daily deals roundup shortly, checking for dropped prices and newly discounted products – stay tuned!

We’ve seen two price drops this morning, both in the US.

One is fairly good – a further $50 price drop on the Dyson V8, which is also a record-low price. It’s a great saving, and probably the best Dyson deal I’ve seen this year so far.

There’s been a fairly minimal price drop on the Dyson HP07, too – a further $5 that’s not much to write home about.

Dyson V8 Cordless Vacuum: was $469.90 now $279 at Amazon
Dyson HP07 Purifier Hot + Cool Fan: was $749.99 now $534.99 at Amazon

Dyson Corrale hair straighteners Black Friday deal

As one of our best hair straighteners, we think that the Dyson Corrale provides immense freedom thanks to its cordless form factor, and this Black Friday, Amazon is offering a 20% price cut which knocks $100 off its retail price of $499 in the US, while Currys has slashed £100 from the MSRP in the UK.

In our Dyson Corrale review, we did flag its hefty weight, but this flaw didn’t outweigh how well these straighteners perform. While they are predominantly used to straighten hair, they work just as well for waving and curling. As well as its high performance and versatile styling capabilities, Dyson’s straighteners work wonders on the protection front, maintaining consistent temperature thanks to its heat-regulating plates.
