Christopher Nolan’s Tenet delayed by Warner Bros.

Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, a movie set within the world of international espionage, is the latest movie to receive a delay as studios grapple with when they can start releasing their biggest movies in theaters around the world. Tenet will now open on July 31st, instead of July 17th. Warner Bros. will instead re-release Nolan’s Inception on July 17th to honor its 10th anniversary.

“We’re especially thrilled, in this complex and rapidly changing environment, to be bringing Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet,’ a global tentpole of jaw-dropping size, scope and scale, to theaters around the world on July 31,” Toby Emmerich, chairman of Warner Bros.
