Jordan Peele’s second directorial project, Us, was a stunning success in its opening weekend. The tremendous box-office response was likely buoyed by memories of Peele’s terrific writing and directing debut Get Out, by an eerie advance marketing campaign, and by strong word of mouth from early screenings.
