Nintendo announced today that some of the most beloved role-playing classics from developer Square Enix are coming to the Switch next year, including Final Fantasy VII. The news was announced during the company’s Nintendo Direct live stream. In addition to FFVII, Switch owners are also getting FFIX, FFX/X-2, and FF12.
It looks like the latter three titles will be the HD remastered versions that were released for the PlayStation 4 / PS Vita consoles as well. Nintendo has previously confirmed Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition for the console as well.
