Prosper, a decentralized protocol that connects institutional-grade Bitcoin mining power on-chain is set to unleash Bitcoin’s true potential via liquidity farming. Today, it revealed a long-term hosting service agreement with BITMAIN, the premier manufacturer of digital currency mining servers under the Antminer brand.
Under the agreement, BITMAIN and its affiliates will deliver hosting services for the Bitcoin miners owned by Prosper’s foundation, ensuring top-tier operational standards for holders of the $PROS token.
This agreement’s initial wave of hashrate is anticipated to go live in November, utilizing Antpool’s mining pool platform and available through Prosper’s v1 web app.
Earlier this quarter, Prosper revealed a strategic pivot aimed at harnessing the power of Bitcoin mining while exploring the opportunities within liquidity farming. Prosper has secured a partnership with BITMAIN to boost execution quality for its miners and $PROS token holders.
