Showtime’s upcoming Halo TV series is getting a new home — the live-action adaptation of the popular sci-fi shooters will now debut exclusively on the relaunched Paramount Plus streaming service when it arrives at the beginning of 2022, Deadline reports.
There have been a few attempts at adapting Halo to live action (including the less-than-stellar Halo: Nightfall), of which the Showtime series is the latest attempt. It’s been the works since 2018, and promises to actually focus on the star of the series: Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, the armored star of the series more commonly known as Master Chief (played by American Gods’ Pablo Schreiber.)
