Xphere officially unveiled its 2.0 Testnet on January 13, offering users a unique opportunity to experience the core functionalities of blockchain firsthand. With mining programs accessible via GitHub, the Testnet allows not only developers but also general users to participate directly in the block creation process.
The Testnet operates in an open format, enabling anyone to download the mining program from GitHub and start mining with minimal setup. Assets mined during the Testnet period can be transferred using the ZIGAP wallet, and users can monitor real-time transaction details and block data via the TAMSA Explorer. This initiative has garnered attention for providing a comprehensive hands-on experience of blockchain’s fundamental features, even in a Testnet environment.
Xphere has also announced additional benefits for Testnet participants. A portion of the assets mined during the Testnet will be distributed as airdrops following the Mainnet launch. This offers users a chance to contribute to the early ecosystem while earning tangible rewards actively.
In November, Xphere generated buzz in the blockchain community by announcing the Testnet while participating in the Sunset Soiree event in Bangkok. A Xphere representative stated, “The Testnet goes beyond mere technical validation, encouraging both users and developers to actively engage in shaping the future potential of blockchain technology.”
